Did you read the Part One post about this project? For part two, I cut out my Heat 'n Bond Lite backed applique pieces and fused them to the black background. Doesn't this green Island Batik fabric look wonderful for the leaf shapes?
I cut and collected all of my pieces into a plastic zipper bag.
I arranged all the patches on the black background ~ did you know Island Batik makes a gorgeous deep solid black fabric? ~ and fused them in place. Next comes the artsy part. I get to play with my Aurifil thread collection!
This pattern produces a lovely shirt in five views. Variations include lengths and sleeve options. Shirts feature princess seams, side slit opening, front band, collar, and stitched hems.

Vest features front welts, with back and back belt made using lining fabric. Button front shirt has back pleated to yoke, forward shoulder seams, and cuff variations. Tie is lined in two lengths. Bow tie pattern also included.

McCall's Tops and Tunic Pattern This pattern produces a lovely top or tunic in four views. Oversized tops and tunics feature front button bands, front and back gathered yokes, low armholes, and shaped narrow hemline. Variations include neck band, bias collar, collar, pleated sleeves, continuous lap, button cuffs, tie ends, wrong side showing on back hemline, sleeveless, and collar band.
