I finished knitting the Monster Cats last week, so I needed a new "TV watching" project to work on. I went to my U.F.O. list and pulled out South Shore Road. This quilt appeared in Quiltmaker Magazine a few years ago as a series quilt. I love the bright colors. I quilted all the house and tree blocks in the ditch, and then up on the shelf it went.
I got right back to work on the Lighthouse block. I hand quilted some yellow accent lines into the lights and did the rest of it in the ditch. Now I'm stitching some ripply waves into the water on the boat blocks.
