My Peacocks in a Tree block is coming along nicely! Last night I appliqued the first peacock and some more of the leaves. I used a purple hand-dyed looking fabric for the peacock, and I think it came out nicely. Now one more smaller peacock on the left and a few more leaves to finish.
Again, this is from Jane Townswick's book, Artful Album Quilts. It's my NFL project for the season. Last night my Carolina Panthers had a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, 25-10, in their last preseason game. They won 3 out of 4 preseason games this year. Lookin' good! So is the applique.
