New Pattern ~ Wild Tuba Party!

It's a Wild Tuba Party, and you're invited.  Meet the Wild Tuba Party quilt, one of my newer patterns.  This pattern encourages you to mix it up, be creative, and have fun.

Wild Tuba Party features the Celebrate fabric collection, by Island Batik.

Disclaimer:  The fabric for this quilt was given to me by Island Batik.
The blocks are a combination of simple piecing and fun fusible applique flowers and dots.

This pattern encourages you to make every block different by mixing the colors and fabrics.  It's a creative process.  There is no wrong way to make a Wild Tuba Party block.

This photo shows Wild Tuba Party during the quilting process.  Because it is such a busy quilt, I used an allover loopy meander for the quilting motif.  It added nice texture without competing with the design of the quilt top.

Trail Mix helped hold the quilt down during the binding process.  She's so helpful.

And here is the finished quilt, hanging up for a few quick photos.

Backing is Jelly Bean by Island Batik.

Binding in the same gorgeous green as the outer border.
