Just My Type Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello!  Welcome to day two of the Just My Type blog hop.  I'm so glad you stopped by.

Just My Type is a new fabric collection by Tammy Silvers of Tamirinis for Island Batik.  The colors and designs are fabulous!

I used five of the fabrics for my project.

This is Modern Mini Star (Atlantic Version).  It's a small quilt project, doable in just one day.

The entire quilt measures 20" x 20".  The tiny star, in a star, in a star, in the center of the quilt is paper pieced, but the rest of the quilt is easily sewn with rotary cutting and piecing.

I quilted Modern Mini Star with blue diagonal lines across the entire surface of the quilt.

The quilt is backed with a pretty speckled blue Island Batik fabric.

Pretty folds.

I bound the quilt with the same dark circle print as the skinny outer border.

The finished quilt makes a cute table topper to enjoy with your coffee or add some sparkle and color to an empty wall.
