Batting Review: Soft & Bright Batting

I tried Soft & Bright batting by The Warm Company for my most recent quilt and I loved it!  This is my favorite batting to date.  It's thick, soft, and warm.  It quilted beautifully - no problems at all.  I can't wait for next Winter, so I can sleep under this quilt.  It is going to be super warm.

Until next time...please visit the Curlicue Creations Shop...and have a super day!

  1. Glad to hear that you liked this bat Jennifer what's the fiber content do you remember? 80/20, all cotton, poly?

  2. Hi Jennifer,
I tend to make more lap quilts and generally use a polyester fiber batting for those, either 3 or 4 ounce size, and most often on sale. But when I make a full size family quilt, I go for a better batting. I tried warm and white but it didn't have the loft I am used to with the poly. I'm going to try a new one for the quilt I'm making for my sister and her husband: it's called Tuscany and I think it is a blend.

I've just begun a new page at my blogspot, and have added links to your blog and your Etsy page there. You'll find it at this page: http://atquiltersquarters.blogspot.com/p/sharing.html. If you like what I have on the other pages of my blog, too, please let me know? And if there's anything you want to change that I've posted there about yours, you can email me at needlesandpens@comcast.net.
