Did you read the Part One post about this project? For part two, I cut out my Heat 'n Bond Lite backed applique pieces and fused them to the black background. Doesn't this green Island Batik fabric look wonderful for the leaf shapes?
I cut and collected all of my pieces into a plastic zipper bag.
I arranged all the patches on the black background ~ did you know Island Batik makes a gorgeous deep solid black fabric? ~ and fused them in place. Next comes the artsy part. I get to play with my Aurifil thread collection!
