As I write this we are experiencing day two of torrential rains from Hurricane Florence. We are lucky to be in northern North Carolina, close to the Virginia border. We are only expecting 3 to 6 inches of rain. Some areas are expecting 40 +. Devastating flooding. Our electricity has stayed on so far. I've been doing as much sewing as possible, in case we lose power for a few days. Fuzzy helped me cut some blue strips from my stash to sew nine patch blocks.
Here are some of the other fabrics I'm using ~ yellow.
Green.
I'm stitching them together with this soft lavender Aurifil thread.
Creamy white and pretty pastel strips.
So many stripes up on the design wall.
Cutting the stripes into strip units.
The beginnings of a few Nine Patch blocks. That was fun! What are you sewing today?
