I completed my four Star Blocks. Aren't they just so sparkly?
Now, on to the ships. I started with a little chain piecing.
These triangle squares are going to become the ship's sails.
Sewn together into fours; each ship will have four sails.
The dark red/light blue triangle squares will be the bottom section of the ships.
See how the sails fit together with the bottom of the ships?
Last, I sewed a wavy looking blue batik to the bottom of the ships to complete the three ship blocks.
