Did you see my Island Batik Ambassador unboxing video yesterday? Today I'm showing photos of everything so you can get a second look. This is the Fancy Feathers Collection, plus two coordinating fabrics. I'll be using this fabric in my August blog hop project. You can see my project soon, on August 12th. Aurifil sent this gorgeous purple thread set. It's the Cross River Gorilla collection, meant to bring attention to endangered species. I'll be making a quilt based on the Cross River Gorilla for one of my challenges.
I received the Split Recs ruler from Deb Tucker's Studio 180 designs. This will be used on the August blog hop project.
And batting, batting, batting! Hobbs is so generous to the Ambassadors. I received Cotton 80/20 Bleached, and Fusible, and Thermore, and
Tuscany Collection Cotton Wool Blend (I've already used this for my Christmas Tree Skirt project),
and a package of Fusible Batting Strips. Wonderful. I'm planning on making another rug to use in front of my quilting frame. I hope I can find the time to fit it into my busy schedule.
We're doing another ByAnnie.com bag challenge this year. This is my kit for Divide and Conquer. I'm so excited. I can't wait to get started on these. Have you tried her bag patterns? They're fabulous!
