I've made a little progress on the Scrappy Star quilt. I believe I left off with these sweet flying geese units on the last post about this project.
Here's some more geese units getting their corners trimmed off.
And pressed. They look funny with only one triangle sewn on. That could make an interesting design for another quilt though. Hmmmmm......
Time to sew on the left corner triangles.
I think that large square with the pink print design is a future star center.
A tangled up mess from lots of chain piecing. Does this happen to you, too?
Some flying geese units, chain pieced and ready to trim the left triangles. I love that pretty pink floral fabric with the fresh spring green.
More trimming!
My growing flock of geese up on the design wall. Looks like they are flying south.
And one star block with all the units ready to sew together. It's getting there!
