Peek Inside the July 2018 Quilty Box!

Note:  The contents of this box were given to me by Quilty Box.
The July Quilty Box is fabulous!  Thank you so much Quilty Box.  This one really sings to my heart.  My life is crazy and moves at a too fast pace.  I've been working on slowing down, relaxing, and spending more time outdoors to help balance everything out.  This month's box coordinates well with my goals.

This month's featured designer is Yoko Saito.  She is from Chiba, Japan and is known for her needlework and use of taupe fabrics.

This month's box includes a beautiful bundle of her fabric collection, Centenary 23rd.

These are the fabrics that came in my bundle.
Lovely low contrast taupe fabrics with a dragonfly floral print focus fabric.

Seven skeins of Cosmo Floss.  I've never stitched with Cosmo before.  My fingers are itchin' to do some stitchin'.

Two sets of floss bobbins ~ always useful.
These have pretty French designs and phrases on them.

Cotton mixed tape for bag handles.

The Bundles of Inspiration this month has a Sashiko lesson, a small quilt pattern, and this Blue Dragonfly Bag pattern.  I want so much to make this bag.  I was hoping to find some time to sew it before my post, but it will have to wait for another day.  Perhaps after all my boys are back in school this Fall.  Isn't it lovely?
