Island Batik Ambassador Box Two Photos

Did you see my Unboxing Video, previously posted on June 23rd?  It was fun to show what I received in the Island Batik Ambassador boxes for the second half of 2020.  So much fun that I decided to do a second post, showing photos of everything, in case you missed anything, or wanted a closer look.

Disclaimer:  These items were given to me by Island Batik and industry partners.
It's so exciting when these boxes arrive on the doorstep.

I'm using this blue-ti-ful stack of Prairie Skies by Kathy Engle for my August Project.  This fabric is available in local quilt shops right now.

This 10" square stack is Lemon Grass by Kathy Engle for Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs.  It came with a couple of coordinating fabrics in yellow and green.  So gorgeous!  The precuts should be in local shops now, with yardage to follow in September/October.

Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Corner Pop tool.  I'm using this right now for my August project.  It's fun to use.  I'll be sharing that on the blog as soon as I finish it up.  The quilt top is done, I just need to get to the quilting part.

I received two packages of these 5" x width of fabric rolls in blues and blacks.

A nice little rainbow of Aurifil thread.  Six spools bursting with color.

A By Annie bag kit for one of our upcoming challenges.  We were able to select the bag we wanted to make. The kit was sent with everything needed, even the Island Batik fabrics.  I'm making a backpack.

Blenders, Basics, and Solids to coordinate with Spring Fabrics.

Blenders, Basics, and Solids to coordinate with Summer Fabrics.

A large cut of neutral fabric.

Large cuts of solid gray, white, and black fabrics.

Hobbs  Batting sent this package of 2-1/4" fusible strips.  I'll likely use this to make a rug.  I've been wanting to sew another one.

Silk Blend batting - Oooooh!  Fancy!

Black batting 80/20.  Great for quilts with a lot of dark fabrics.

Fusible Cotton Batting.  I've never tried this, but I'm excited to see how it works.

Accuquilt sent the Go Me for the Christmas in July project.  It was fun to make a small table topper and gift this to my son and his girlfriend.  If you missed it, you can read my post about that here:  Christmas in July with Accuquilt.

I also received a few "Surprise" packages of Island Batik fabric for some of the upcoming challenges.  I can't show those right now...but I've peeked myself.  They are amazing!  My brain is bursting with ideas for upcoming projects.  I can't wait to show you what I'm dreaming up.  Stay tuned.

Be sure to visit my fellow Island Batik Ambassadors to see what they're cooking up too!
