Sherbet Hearts Quilt ~ Sewing Right Along

 I'm sewing another Sherbet Hearts quilt because they are so much fun to make!

I've made lots of charming little hearts in a rainbow of yummy fabrics, all pulled from my stash.  This quilt is great for stash reduction.

 Here's a close up of four of the yellow heart blocks.  Aren't they charming?

 After the hearts, I worked on the Flying Geese units for the border.

 A flock of geese!

 And here the blocks are beginning to be joined into rows.  It's all starting to come together.

Love, Love, Love....

 Love, love, love...here's another project I'm working on for a pattern re-release.  

 This quilt features a bevy of sweet fusible appliqued hearts.

 I traced them all onto Heat 'n Bond Lite, my favorite fusible web.

 Then, because I like cutting things out, I cut around each and every heart.  You could skip this step and just press the whole square onto the back of your fabric.

 Here's my stack of hearts, all ready to fuse.

 I made yellow hearts.

 I made pink hearts.

I made minty green, purple and blue hearts.  Then I cut out all of the hearts - yippee!  Aren't they looking pretty?  More to come in a future post.
