Sherbet Hearts Pink Lemonade Version

Introducing:  The Sherbet Hearts quilt in a brand new colorway ~ Pink Lemonade.
It's fresh, pink, and delicious.

I made this quilt using Island Batik's new Smooch fabric collection.

The Sherbet Hearts quilt features two blocks.  This fusible applique heart,

 and the classic Nine Patch.

It sews up quickly and is a great project for the beginner or intermediate level quilter.

Looking cute and country on the outside of my kitchen.

The flying geese border gives a nice edge to this classic design.

 Cat's eye view.

Pretty folded, too.  You can see the variegated thread I used for the straight line quilting.  It's Superior Thread's King Tut thread in Cleopatra.

The Sherbet Hearts quilt on the front porch.  Ready for a sunset and a glass of lemonade.

I backed this quilt with a golden Island Batik fabric.

I used the same pink for the binding as the outer border fabric.

 Fun folds.

Hanging out on the front door.

Quilt Stats:

  1. OOO I love this. The fabric is very delicate and who doesn't love flying geese?
