Island Batik Ambassadors Box 2 Arrival and Unpacking

Disclaimer:  The items in this box were given to me by Island Batik, Aurifil, and Hobbs Batting.
It's here!  My Island Batik Ambassadors Box #2 has arrived.  I'm super excited!  As an Island Batik Ambassador, they send me two boxes per year filled with vibrant Island Batik fabrics, Aurifil  threads, and Hobbs Batting to use to complete my monthly challenge projects.  They have all been so generous.  This box nearly fills my front porch glider.

Let's take a peek inside the box.  I see some birthday candles, and explosions of color.  Oh how I love color ~ every color.

The birthday candles are decorating this cute and handy tote bag from Aurifil.  Aurifil USA is ten years old.  How nice!  I may just take this with me for shopping at the Sewing Expo in a couple of weeks.

Inside the Aurifil bag we find some thread color charts (yay!), a decal, a set of forest green Aurifil threads in every weight, and a larger spool in a nice blendy color.

Now on to the fabrics.  This is Paisley Dot.  This package contains 42 pieces in a 10" square stack.  What a fabulous rainbow of colors!  I can't wait to play with these.

I also received a 10" square stack of the All A Flutter collection.  These colors really sing to my heart.  Purples, pinks, and turquoise.  Yes, oh yes!

This is the London Fog collection.  This package includes a 40 piece, 2-1/2" strip pack with two coordinating pieces of yardage, one light blue, one dark blue.

Yardage of three more lovely blue fabrics.  These fabrics are called "Check it Out".

A large 5 yard cut of "Custard", a pale yellow with light blue vines here and there.  Thank you, Island Batik.  This will be perfect to coordinate with the other fabrics.

More yardage in an assortment of colors and patterns!

And three solids, in gray, white, and black.  I know I'll be using these up!

Hobbs batting was also very generous.  This time they sent a roll of cotton batting, my personal favorite.

They also sent a batting I've been wanting to try, 100 percent wool.  Cool!

And this one is a cotton wool blend.  I feel so spoiled!

Here's a little view of everything all together.  I'm so inspired!  I just can't wait to get to work designing and making new projects to share with you over the next six months!
