Farmer's Market is another one of my patterns coming out this month. Very different from the Sugar Crush quilt I wrote about yesterday. Both quilts have a traditional feel, but the fabrics and settings give these two quilts completely different moods. Funnily enough, just as I sat down to write this post, the UPS man delivered the Farmer's Market quilt back home to me. It is a cold, cloudy day here in North Carolina, so I am keeping warm under this quilt right now - so cuddly!
The Farmer's Market quilt and pattern is featured in Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts Spring 2016 issue, available now. A kit is available for sale at the Fons and Porter website, too. Click here for more info: Farmer's Market Quilt Kit.
I quilted this primitive country quilt with an allover loopy meander.
This photo shows the back of the quilt. I pieced the back with thick stripe down the center using up a few of the fabrics from the quilt top to give it more of a country homemade feeling.
Farmer's Market Quilt Stats:
Quilt Size: 80-1/2" x 96-1/2"
Block Size: 12"
Fabric: Heartfelt by Kansas Troubles for Moda
Batting: The Warm Company
Thread: King Tut Flax by Superior
Have a wonderful day!
